GILI MENO ISLAND

Gili Meno is our Favorite Gili Island with Crystal-Clear Water and pretty White-Coral Sand Beaches, located at about 15-20 minutes from The Lombok Lodge Boutique Hotel / The Private Villa Estate. Gili Meno is the middle island of Lombok’s three northwest coast Gili’s, the smallest and most idyllic one of the three Gili Islands. One can walk around the island in 60 minutes or take the only form of transport on the island, a horse-cart or ‘Cidomo’.

LIFE IS GOOD ON THE WATER
Enjoy your morning boat trip with departure from The Lombok Lodge Boutique Hotel / The Private Villa Estate. The boat transfer to Bagno Di Gili, will take you about 15-20 minutes.

Enjoy the charm of ‘SWEET CAROLINE’, ‘ISABELLA’ and/or ‘MARY LOU’, one of the three charming boats of The Lombok Lodge Hospitality, the professional services of our experienced boat captains and our lovely boat crew.

WELCOME AT BAGNO DI GILI

‘Bagno Di Gili’ – the exclusive private beach area of The Lombok Lodge Hospitality at Gili Meno. Relaxing at ‘Bagno Di Gili’ means a living experience; Luxury Gazebos, warm Hospitality Services, elegant Sitting Areas, delicious Food, Palm Trees and idyllic tropical Landscape’s Colours. ‘Bagno Di Gili’ is located at Turtle Point, the most perfect reef for snorkeling, at on the beautiful north west coast of Gili Meno.

Each Beach Gazebo at ‘Bagno Di Gili’ offers two sunbeds, two deckchairs, a table and a safety-box. The exclusive Gazebos at ‘Bagno Di Gili’ are available for rent for resident guests at The Lombok Lodge Boutique Hotel, as well as at Lombok’s Private Villa Estate and as an inclusion of the many Package Retreat Arrangements we offer.

Bagno Di Gili Gazebo’s are available for non-resident guests on daily basis at USD 240++, price per Gazebo, including lunch for two.

TURTLE POINT SNORKELING
See the vibrant coral reefs, tropical fish and XL Turtles that inhabit the waters in front of Bagno Di Gili. Snorkeling gears will be ready for you as an inclusion of your Day-Pass

#GILI MENO SCULPTURE SNORKELING
British sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor created a beautiful underwater sculpture park. The sculptures are located at 10 minutes walking distance from Bagno Di Gili.

This is an incredible piece of work with 48 human figures in a circle that is said to represent the connection between humans and nature. Taylor also has underwater sculptures in other parts of the world. This one is only 3 metres below the surface so is easily accessible for snorkelers and divers. It makes for some pretty haunting photos, so don’t miss this site.

Enjoy your Beach Lunch! Enjoy Chef Jiwa Raga’s home-made healthy cuisine, prepared with only fresh, organic and wholesome ingredients, free from preservatives and additives. Chef Jiwa’s dishes are not only delicious but also nutritious, making them a great option to maintain your healthy lifestyle.

AFTERNOON SUGGESTIONS
– Spend the afternoon lounging on the beach, reading a book and soaking up the sun.

– Discover the island by ‘Cidomo’ / horse cart, the only form of transport available on the island. Your beach butlers are happy to contact the ‘Cidomo Operator’ for you. Do not hesitate to ask.

– Discover The Lombok Lodge Hotel Collection of sustainable Lombok art at the Bagno Di Gili Concept Store

– Visit our Gili Meno Turtle Nursery. Release a baby turtle!

– Explore the Gili Meno Saltwater Lake. Located in the heart of Gili Meno, one of the three Gili Islands, is a unique and captivating attraction – the Gili Meno saltwater lake. The lake is a true gem. The lake is a natural phenomenon and is one of the few saltwater lakes in the world. It covers an area of approximately 2 hectares. The lake is a popular spot for bird watching, with several species of migratory birds passing through the island. The shallow waters are ideal for bird watching, providing excellent views of the different species of birds that visit the island. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and escape the crowds, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature and offers a unique and breathtaking experience, showcasing the beauty of nature at its finest.

#LATE AFTERNOON

BORROW FREEDOM, RIDE A HORSE
One of the most magical and romantic experiences at Gili Meno is beach horse riding at sunset. The golden hour on the island is simply stunning, and a horseback ride along the beach offers a wonderful perspective of the sky turn from blue to a brilliant orange.

Horse riding along the beach is a unique way to take in the stunning views of the island and the sea. The sound of the waves, the salty sea breeze, and the warm golden light of the setting sun make for an unforgettable experience. The horses are suitable for riders of all levels, including beginners.

Your boat crew & captain will be ready for you. It’s recommend to leave Bagno Di Gili between 5:00pm & 5:30pm for the best sunset experiences.
