There are several flight per day between Bali and Lombok.
Bluewater Fast Boat Service operates as well daily between Bali and Lombok.

A public slow ferry takes 4 to 6 hours, while a fast boat takes between 1.5 to 3.5 hours.
Private Boat transfers require a minimum of 3 hours on the boat, however the experience can be extended with a snorkeling stop during the transfer.

For most of our guests, we recommend the fast boat between Bali and Lombok or a private transfer. Both are significantly quicker than the public ferry and much more comfortable for a direct trip to The Lombok Lodge.

Fly into Lombok International Airport (LOP), the island’s only airport, located about 90 minutes from The Lombok Lodge Boutique Hotel. Many guests connect via Bali (Denpasar), with a short 25–30 minute flight onward to Lombok. Direct and connecting flights are also available from Jakarta, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur.

The interiors of the POOLSIDE Lodge Suites and the Standard Lodge Suites are similar. The only difference between both Lodge Types is the location – The POOLSIDE Lodges offer the most stunning view (premium ocean view guaranteed) and direct access from the private terrace to The Lodge beautiful 25m infinity pool.

Some of our Luxury One-Bedroom Lodge Suites offer indeed a Twin-Bed Set-up option.

The South of Lombok has the the best surfing breaks and there are others near Senggigi area. Unfortunately there are no closer surfing areas available near The Lombok Lodge. The best months for surf explorations are March to the end of April, and September through to November when the trade winds are low.

We would like to suggest to change your currency at the Lombok airport or in Mataram area, as no money changing facilities are available in the North of the island. Yes, we do have babysitters available upon request. Our team will be pleased to assist you with babysitting your child/children. The charge of USD 10++, price per hour apply. For parents who want a quiet dinner, or to enjoy any of our wonderful daytime excursions, please be reassured that our friendly childcare is a great choice. However, presently, if you are looking for highly qualified caregivers with first aid credentials, we recommend keeping your little ones in your company.

For families staying in one of the Private Beach Villas at the brand new Private Villa Estate, an extra room for your nanny/maid is available at your villa. Additional charges will apply.

Absolutely! We would be happy to provide one additional bed. We lóve it to welcome children! All rooms are very spacious, so the additional bed will not cause inconveniences. One additional children bed is available with the charge of USD 135++ per child per bed per night including a children meal plan for one child (-12y). One additional teenager/adult bed is available with the charge of USD 200++, price per bed per night; including adult meal plan for one teenager/adult.

For more extensive treatments, the closest local hospital is just 10 minutes away in the Tanjung area. Furthermore,Mataram’s hospitals are located 45 minutes from The Lodge. Depending on the guest’s insurance and requirements, we assist in facilitating medical evacuations from The Lombok Lodge Helipad or Lombok Airport (a 70-minute ambulance drive) to Bali or Singapore.

Lombok is a fantastic place to drive by (motor)bike, especially compared to Bali or Java

The roads are practically empty (outside of Mataram and the main east-west highway) and Lombok residents drive much slower and more cautiously

If you’ve ever driven in Bali or Java, Lombok is a dream

Senggigi, the main touristic centre of the island, is located at about 30 minutes from The Lombok Lodge Boutique Hotel

The best place to stay in Lombok depends, of course, on your vibe- but for the luxury traveller looking for an upscale experience, I highly recommend the north-west of Lombok, just a short boat ride from the Gili Islands, one of the island’s main attractions. Kuta, on the southern coast, is a good choice if you’re after a bustling café scene and a digital nomad crowd, but it’s not particularly geared toward discerning travellers.
